I got to spend time with my family while I was in Indiana.

Birthday Party #3. We went to Indiana this past weekend to celebrate my birthday again!!

Today is my birthday!! Grammie and Grandpa were out of town yesterday so they had me over for another celebration. I sure do love cake!!

I ate my first cake at my birthday party.

At first I wasn't too sure about this. Once I realized it was delicious I leaned down and put my face into it. Then I picked up the whole piece and tried to get it in my mouth. Finally I went into a sugar coma.

I had my first birthday celebration today in the park with some friends and family.

My parents tried to get me to wear a birthday hat but I didn't like it, so then they tried to make me wear a birthday tiara and I didnt' like that either!!

My other favorite song from baby class is "Tick Tock Tick Tock I'm a Little Coo Coo Clock"

I took a break from joyful shrieking for awhile but now I'm back at it, especially when I see other kids or puppy doggies.

"Pop it Right Up" is my favorite song. I always start joyful shrieking when Mommy and I sing this song with all the other babies in baby class.

I get impatient waiting for my parents to come get me in the morning. Lately I've been pulling down my crib bumper so I can see what's goin' on.

My Mommie gave me an early birthday present - a SWING!! Sometimes I love it, sometimes I'm not so sure?

Sorry we haven't posted in a couple weeks. It's beautiful springtime in Minnesota so we've been outside.

Like usual, I've been doing all the big girl things lately. I've been teething pretty bad the last week or so, so there are new teeth on the horizon. Two weekends ago I went up north for a Spring retreat with church and I was on my very best behavior. After that, I turned into Janezilla for a week (teething). Then I went up north again last weekend to help my Dad open the cabin. We had lots of fun raking and hanging out with family. My Dad forgot to pack my jacket so my Auntie Yvonne made me a makeshift jacket out of Great Grandma Hansvick's sweatshirt. Other than that, I am not crawling yet but I'm all over place. I'm all about assisted walking. I maybe used my first sign language this week (of course it was the sign for "food"). I really really want to start talking so I babble a lot. I am also starting to become obsessed with puppy doggies. I love puppy doggies. My Mom will try to capture some of this excitement on camera so we can share that with everyone.

I've gotten very good about eating on my own and I've been a lot more of Mom and Dad's food. mmmmm food.
