I had a big week of firsts.

I went to my first Twins game.

I went to my first movie at the drive-in.

I went to my first MN State Fair and saw a band called Tea Leaf Green and a stuffed fox.

I also started playing with my toys for the first time.

I am extra cute in the morning.

I met Doug and Sarah from Colorado while they were in town.

Jaclyn came to town to meet me.

Hangin out by the lake.

My Grammie held me while my Dad, Grandpa, and Aunts jumped off the bridge. Aunt Kelly watched me hang out in my special tent.

I'm doing real big girl things...

I have showed my mom and dad a few smiles here and there but yesterday morning I woke up all smiles. My mom and dad had been putting me in my activity gym but I was really only interested in looking at my own hand. Yesterday I started seeing the objects in the gym and started interacting with them. I am cute.

My Aunt Micki got me this outfit in Hawaii.

I went to the doctor last week and he said I weighed 10 lbs and measured 21 inches long.

I'm in the 25th percentile for weight and 5th percentile for height.

I took my first trip to the beach in North Carolina.

I got to meet my Aunt Kricki, Uncle Kyle, Kevin, Amanda, and my great Aunt Cissa and great Uncle Wendell as well as my Mom's cousins and their children. I put my feet in the sand and didn't mind putting my feet in the ocean.

I am 8 weeks old.

I can finally wear my yellow sweet jane "homecoming" outfit my parents got for me to wear home from the hospital when I was born. I have cooed a couple times. I can use my leg strength to stand up on my own (when someone holds me). I am starting to smile and I am starting to control my hand movements to be able to bring my hand to my mouth and suck my own thumb.

I got to meet my friend Blaine from Florida.

I am 7 weeks old now.

I love my soothie.

I experienced my first 4th of July up north at the cabin.

My friend Tivoli was born 12 days before me so we are good buds. Our mom's dressed us in the most patriotic outfits in our closets. I liked my outfit but I didn't like my Mom's eagle shirt. The next day we got to wear our swimsuits and take our first dip in the lake. My dad just put my feet in the water but I didn't like it.

I went to Northampton, Mass for my first wedding. My Dad's cousin James married a really nice lady named Emily.

I really liked meeting my Aunt Kelly and Aunt Micki. I also got to meet my Great Aunt Bea and all my Dad's cousins.

Last weekend I took my first 4 flights!

I got to meet some of my mom and dad's friends from Colorado.

My mom and dad weighed me at the grocery store.

At 5 1/2 weeks old, the butcher said I weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. I'm now starting to wear my newborn size clothes.

I can squeek and toot.

I can hold my head up.

My cousins Hunter, Autumn, and Kaylor drove all the way from Indiana with my Uncle Nathan, Papaw Smith, and Mamaw Smith to meet me.
