I went to my 18-month appointment last week. Here are my stats:

Weight: 20 lbs. 7 ounces - 5th percentile
Length: 29.5" - -5th percentile
Head: 10.75" - 75th percentile

Here is a video of some things I've been doing lately.

I do the sign for "more" when I want more and for when I just want something. I learned the sign for "please" but I have decided I like my own version of "please" better. I have also started barking, meowing, and baaaing (like a sheep). When I start playing with my puppy you can hear a couple subtle barks. I go crazy when I get to watch Bob (Spongebob).

A couple weeks ago Grammie and Mommy took me downtown to the 8th Floor Auditorium at Macy's. I walked through "A Day in the Life of an Elf."

I had a delicious Thanksgiving at Grammie's house.

I like going to the playground.

I recently learned about Spongebob Squarepants. This morning I took the television remote and said "Bob" because I wanted to watch Spongebob. When I say Bob I say it with two syllables like Bob-ba.

I turned 18 months old this week!

I am doing a ton of new big girl things.

I like playing with other kids now although I usually yell at them. My teacher says I like to make sure the boys know that I am the boss. I am saying new words everyday and using sign language a lot more. When things are hot I like to say "ha ha ha ha ha." I love animals, especially dogs. When I see them I like to give them loveys and kisses. I still like my pop-up song and now I can pop-up all on my own. I've started brushing my own teeth which is much more successful than mommy trying to brush my teeth.

It's official - I am a toddler! Part One

I am into everything and I have become very vocal. Three words I say clearly are Momma, Poppa, and Dadda. There are several words my Mom thinks she has heard but isn't sure. They are ducky, puppy, doggie, bath, mamie (grammie), and this morning I may have said stinky when I was getting my diaper changed. Today when Mommie came into my class to pick me up my teacher told Mommie that she was surprised how vocal I have become. I was even yelling at the other kids in my class.

Halloween is really fun.

Grammie made me a scary witch costume.

Aunti Bobbi made me a cute loopy hat to match my costume.

I carved pumpkins with my cousins.

Then I went trick-or-treating with my cousin Gracie.

I went bowling with my cousins. Click on my movie to watch me bowl my first ball.

We went to the apple orchard today. I picked out a pumkin and rode on the cow ride.

My cow wasn't big enough for Papa and me so we had to ride in Gracie's cow.

My Mommy apologizes for neglecting the blog for a few weeks. Our computer bit the dust so we had to wait for our new one.

This video is a few weeks old at this point but it was shot right when I started walking all on my own. I'm motoring around really well now and I've got all kinds of new tricks Mommy will try to capture so we can share them.

I'm 16-1/2 months old, but I just had my 15-month doctor visit today. Here are my stats:

Length: 29" - 10th percentile
Head: 18-1/4" - 50th percentile

I've finally grown into my head!!!

My parents cut the corn off the cob for me to eat but I threw a fit when I saw them eating it off the cob so they let me give it a try.

I did some grocery shopping for my Mom this weekend. Be sure to click play on the video to watch me in action.

Mommy and Daddy took me to the State Fair. I ate lots of good food like this cookie. I don't like animals because I'm very scared of them.

Last week my Mamaw came to hang out with me. We went to Stillwater to play at Teddy Bear Park and take a dinner cruise on the St.Croix.

Last week we went to Indiana for Uncle Kyle's wedding.

We just took my 1st birthday pictures (11 weeks late). Check out the slideshow on the left for more pics.

Last weekend we went up to the cabin but it was way to cold to go swimming!

This has been a good week for big girl things. I started calling my Mom "Momma" and am close to saying "augie" for doggie. Yesterday I took about 10 steps on my own, and I started clapping my hands today.

I love my new car. It's fun to put my birdie on the hood. We also went on a fun hike along the St.Croix River last weekend.

I took my first steps by myself this weekend!!!
