Last weekend we went up to the cabin but it was way to cold to go swimming!

This has been a good week for big girl things. I started calling my Mom "Momma" and am close to saying "augie" for doggie. Yesterday I took about 10 steps on my own, and I started clapping my hands today.

I love my new car. It's fun to put my birdie on the hood. We also went on a fun hike along the St.Croix River last weekend.

I took my first steps by myself this weekend!!!

Martha's Vineyard, Part 2

We took a trolley to the wedding.

Two weekends ago we went to Martha's Vineyard for the 4th of July.

I rode my first carousel ride. I was scared so I held onto my daddy real tight. I did shots of milk with my friend Blaine. We rode bikes to the next town over and I had to wear a helmet.

I like to sleep with my rear end up in the air.

Sometimes I grunt and cry to get what I want. My Mom thinks I'm a big girl now and should do more things for myself.

When I turned 1 I started crawling.

I like opening and shutting doors as well as drawers. I like making my toughy face and giving my puppy kisses and hugs. I also started brushing my hair and teeth.

This weekend we went to Chicago and met up with Mamaw, Auntie Pam, and Cousin Autumn. We had a really fun time!!

We went on a camping adventure at Temperance River State Park on Lake Superior. I played with my friend Boden and went hiking and biking.

I had my 12-month doctor visit today and here are my stats. The doctor thinks I was measured incorrectly at my last visit when I was 45th percentile.

Weight: 17lbs. 8ozs. - 5th percentile
Length: 27" - 5th percentile
Head: 18" - 80th percentile

I went to Colorado and visited my Aunt Kricki and Uncle Kevin. We did some work in the yard and then hiked to a nearby waterfall.

I got to spend time with my family while I was in Indiana.

Birthday Party #3. We went to Indiana this past weekend to celebrate my birthday again!!

Today is my birthday!! Grammie and Grandpa were out of town yesterday so they had me over for another celebration. I sure do love cake!!

I ate my first cake at my birthday party.

At first I wasn't too sure about this. Once I realized it was delicious I leaned down and put my face into it. Then I picked up the whole piece and tried to get it in my mouth. Finally I went into a sugar coma.
